I am a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and enlisted in the Army just over 20 years ago. I just recently retired from the Army and after living all over the world, my beautiful wife and I chose the Flint Hills region in Kansas to settle down and grow roots. We fell in love with the landscape and the community here and are proud to call it home. We have two pups (Chocolate Lab and a Chiweenie) and a Tuxedo cat. We will be welcoming our first little bundle of joy later this year and are excited to raise her here. My wife is from a town similar to Manhattan in New Mexico. We take summer trips to Mexico to visit some of her family and split time between visiting family in New Mexico and Florida. I am an avid fisherman and hunter and this wonderful part of the country provides great opportunities for both sports. I am active in the community and enjoy spending my time helping others, especially Soldiers and Veterans. I am also a student at Kansas State University studying Hospitality Management, which was my career field in the Army.
