Heather Joy Linkin grew up collaboratively in Connecticut and New York City. She then moved all over the East Coast, eventually calling North Yarmouth, Maine "home"–a New England state that Heather has always loved coming back to, visiting her extended family. Real Estate has also always been present; she observed her mother build a career in realty spanning 4 states over 30 years.
Heather earned a Bachelor's in Music, and a Master's in Music degree(s) from Northwestern University and New England Conservatory studying Viola Performance. Heather performed on her viola all over the country and world with many different orchestras, as well as teaching a multitude of young musicians during these years. She then later earned a Master's in Elementary Education degree from Lehman College, and taught Kindergarten and first grade in New York City and Vermont until becoming a full-time mother to her 2 sons. Upon moving to Maine, Heather took up the role of Principal Violist with the Midcoast Symphony, and has since been a valued board member, initiating the community outreach programs that are now permanent annual events for the symphony. She is residing in her 3rd year as Board President for the Midcoast Symphony.
Heather has spent the last decade as a hobby farmer, raising chickens, turkeys, pigs and bees. She has planted a fruit orchard, vast gardens, and generally enjoys preserving anything she grows. Heather is an avid back-country skier and mountain biker. She also enjoys hikes with her Southern Golden Retriever rescue, Beckett, and seasonal biking, snowmobiling and ice-skating with her children on their North Yarmouth property.
Heather became a Real Estate Sales Agent with the intent to help people of all backgrounds and interests find their "home" as she finally did in North Yarmouth, Maine. She's successfully lived in, worked with, and engaged in a colorful variety of locations, professional industries, and communities, so that whatever your interests and needs are, Heather will help guide you to discover and secure them through your Real Estate choices.
