Skate 2 Invest Team was founded in 2013 by Inna V. Goryuk, U.S. Navy veteran, Business Management graduate and with a heart for orphans, who saw a need for a real estate Agent who cares for client's future way past the home sale. The real estate journey was birthed in 2006 in North Miami, Florida, after 4 years of military service in Norfolk, VA aboard USS George Washington CVN-73 as a Disbursing Clerk. When the craze of real estate market was breaking out, Inna took a much safer approach by joining The Trump Group, owners of Williams Island, as a Receptionist. It was an all-hands on deck position that grew into executive assistant/administrator career for the Development Team during the construction of Forbes award-winning hotel and spa for nine consecutive years – the Aqualina Resort & Residences! In 2008, after enrolling into an advanced Business Management program, Inna moved back to Virginia and joined Monarc Construction Inc – a continual recipient of Excellence awards by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Washington Building Congress (WBC) – as the Administrative Assistant for the Property Maintenance Department. Moving up to Manager Assistant position for Property Management Department brought invaluable insight into housing real estate market. In 2011, Inna received an invitation to join a then Maryland-based private real estate developer, Tenacity Group LLC, as their Administrator, to oversee the rehab of 232-unit Takoma Overlook Condominium. By the end of the project – covering 110+ condo sales, countless of hours managing contractors, plumbing leaks, elevator emergencies, coordinating home staging, reviewing 60+ pages of Developer contracts and managing Developer Warranty punch-lists and assisting with Property Management duties – Inna felt the call to move back to Virginia, obtain her real estate licenses, and share her gained knowledge with all current and prospective real estate investors. The time with Tenacity Group was instrumental in teaching valuable lesson faced in real estate by not only the by home owners but also by Realtors, real estate developers, loan officers, contractors and vendors alike. As an on-site 24/7 on call manager for a 232-unit condo under a major rehab – Inna’s tremendous amount of hours diligently handling every service call earned her a vast amount of expertise which she now brings to the table to both first time home buyers and to seasoned investors alike.
